BRUNSBUETTEL, Germany — G-Power, the German tuning house based outside Hamburg, can add some personality, poise and panache to your BMW 7 Series.

The company’s G7 5.2K supercharger package hikes output on the 750i to 550 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque, while trimming 0-to-60-mph acceleration times to less than 5.5 seconds and boosting top speed to 193 mph.

G-Power also has developed a Highline carbon fiber aero kit for the 7 Series that bundles bumpers, side sills and a deck lid spoiler. The company also offers custom 22-inch wheels (shod with Z-rated Michelins), a quad-exhaust pack and a heavy-duty Brembo brake kit, among other goodies.

They also hold the record for worlds fastest BMW, at 223 MPH!

The Germans have long dominated the V8 super saloon sector, and with 4-door and cabrio models of the new BMW M3 and the Mercedes C63 AMG landing next year this would seem set to continue. But here comes Lexus, presenting its newest model, the IS-F. The new model doesn’t look too wild, but under it’s classy, sleek exterior is a 5.0L V8 engine that pumps out a whopping 416HP and 371 lb-ft. of TQ . Not to mention, all that power is coupled to the road through a 8-SPEED direct shift transmission with paddle shifters and manual mode Can it really surpass the M3 and C63? Neiman Marcus Direct announced that it is partnering with Hennessey Performance Engineering to introduce the 2008 Neiman Marcus Special Edition Hennessey Venom 700NM. The 2008 Special Edition Hennessey Venom will be featured in the spring Neiman Marcus Men’s Catalog and will retail for $179.500.

The 2008 Special Edition Hennessey Venom 700NM features jet black paint with a 200-mph tested rear wing and Venom 700NM badges. Inside, custom details include black and red leather appointments, a numbered limited-edition dash plaque, embroidered floor mats and matching luggage. Underhood, there’s a custom engine featuring 700 horsepower with 645 lb-ft torque, that can attain 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds.

“The Venom 700NM offers world-class power, performance and looks in typical Hennessey style.
